Maintenance of our collars
How do I maintain my jewelry?
925/1000 silver tarnishes when exposed to salt air, chlorine, moisture, perspiration, cosmetics, household bleach and other harsh chemicals. To minimize tarnishing, we recommend that you store your Epidaure collars in a safe, dry place when performing the following activities:
- shower, bath or swim in pools, spas, hot springs and in the ocean.
- use of lotions, hair products, perfumes and other cosmetics.
- sport in a gym or contact sports.
How do I clean my jewelry?
Use a soft cloth, chamois type, or cotton, to remove any dirt or substances that may dull the appearance of the gold. For a deeper cleaning, you can soak the collars for a few minutes in warm soapy water, then dry them with a soft cloth.
Can I swim with my jewel?
To avoid tarnishing as much as possible, we recommend that you store Epidaure collars in a dry place when doing the following activities:
- shower, bath or swim in pools, spas, hot springs and in the ocean.
